Highly absorbent alginate rope dressing for cavity and tunneling wounds

KALTOSTAT® Calcium Sodium Alginate Rope Dressing is a soft, sterile primary dressing designed for moderately to highly exuding chronic and acute wounds, including wounds with minor bleeding. Made from calcium-sodium alginate fibers, the dressing converts into a firm, moist gel upon contact with wound exudate, promoting effective fluid management and supporting an optimal wound healing environment.

Indications for Use:

Suitable for a wide range of moderately to heavily exuding wounds, including pressure injuries (Stage I–IV), venous ulcers, arterial and diabetic ulcers, donor sites, superficial burn wounds, lacerations and abrasions, traumatic wounds, and wounds following surgical debridement.
