Description
These dextrose injections are available in a PAB® bag or EXCEL® bag to provide safety and convenience for patient and caregiver. The bags eliminate the risk of plasticizer toxicity, reduce the risk of subtherapeutic dosing and reduce potential for inadvertent needle sticks. They also facilitate inspection of admixtures. They are convenient because they eliminate the need to double stock separate bags for drugs that are incompatible with PVC containers. Injections in a PAB® bag do not require any overwrap, saving the caregiver precious time.
