The 3M™ Adaptic™ Non-Adhering Dressing, transitioning to Solventum™ Adaptic™ Non-Adhering Dressing, is designed to help protect wounds while minimizing pain and trauma during dressing changes. Featuring a petroleum emulsion impregnated into a unique knitted cellulose acetate mesh, Adaptic™ helps prevent adherence to the wound bed while protecting newly regenerating tissue.

The open-mesh design allows wound exudate to pass freely to a secondary absorbent dressing, helping reduce the risk of fluid pooling and maceration. Flexible and easy to apply, the dressing can be cut to size without unraveling or shredding, making it suitable for a wide range of wound care applications.

Adaptic™ is ideal for use as a primary wound contact layer on dry to heavily exuding wounds and can be used beneath compression therapy or Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) under appropriate medical supervision.
