Welch Allyn Connex 360 Vital Signs Monitor
The Welch Allyn Connex 360 is a next-generation connected vital signs monitor designed for low- to mid-acuity acute care. Built around a 12.1-inch colour capacitive touchscreen and a profile-free workflow, the Connex 360 allows clinical teams to capture and document a complete set of vitals in under one minute — and transfer results directly to the EMR without manual transcription.
Available in six configurations, the Connex 360 family offers flexibility across SpO2 technology, respiration rate monitoring, and wireless connectivity, while delivering a consistent clinical experience across all models. All six configurations include Welch Allyn's SureBP 20-second non-invasive blood pressure technology and SureTemp Plus thermometry.
Choose Your Configuration
The Connex 360 family is organised around three variables: SpO2 technology (Nellcor or Masimo), respiration rate monitoring (standard Masimo or Masimo with RRp), and connectivity (wired Ethernet or Wi-Fi). Wired models carry the 94-prefix; Wi-Fi-enabled models carry the 95-prefix.
- 94CXT-B — Nellcor SpO2, SureTemp, wired
- 94MXT-B — Masimo SpO2, SureTemp, wired
- 94RXT-B — Masimo SpO2 with RRp, SureTemp, wired
- 95CXT-B — Nellcor SpO2, SureTemp, Wi-Fi
- 95MXT-B — Masimo SpO2, SureTemp, Wi-Fi
- 95RXT-B — Masimo SpO2 with RRp, SureTemp, Wi-Fi
Masimo RRp (Respiration Rate from the Pleth) enables continuous, non-invasive digital measurement of respiration rate — no chest leads or additional sensors required. RRp is indicated for adult and paediatric patients 2 years and older.
Designed for Connected Acute Care
Every Connex 360 model is built for seamless EMR integration via Baxter DeviceBridge, Connex CS/CSAS, HL7 Direct, or NCE — reducing transcription errors and giving clinicians more time at the bedside. The profile-free design eliminates patient setup steps before monitoring begins, and the large colour touchscreen supports intuitive navigation across spot check, intervals monitoring, and BP/PR averaging workflows.
Up to 20 additional documentation fields — including pain scale and intake and output (I&Os) — can be recorded at the bedside. Imprivata Single Sign-On and badge-tap authentication support secure, streamlined clinician access.
Early Warning Scoring and Clinical Customisation
All Connex 360 models support up to six configurable Early Warning Score protocols, including MEWS, PEWS, and NEWS2, as well as facility-defined custom scoring protocols and parameter modifiers. Up to six custom interval monitoring programs can be configured to match existing clinical workflows.
Security and Compliance
The Connex 360 platform was developed with end-to-end security from design through deployment. All models feature FIPS-approved encryption, TLS 1.3, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) hardware security, High Assurance Boot, and a hardened Linux OS kernel with mandatory access controls. Wi-Fi-enabled models additionally support WPA2 and WPA3 (Personal and Enterprise) with EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, and PEAP authentication.
All models meet IEC 60601-1, ISO 81060-2, IEC 60601-1-8, and related standards. Ingress protection rating: IP22. Degree of protection: Type BF defibrillator proof. Memory: 400 readings per device.
Rx only. For safe and proper use, refer to the Connex 360 Instructions for Use. Not all parameters are indicated for all paediatric patient populations. RRp is not indicated for neonatal patients or patients under 2 years of age.
